Campbell has a very cool take on a product launch happening this week.
To introduce the new Campbell’s Go™ line of soups – an “uncanned” approach to break free of the brand’s stereotypes for a younger generation – Campbell’s Go is hosting Communal Tables this Thursday, November 15 at Floating World Gallery, 1925 North Halsted Street.
Millennials (those aged 18 – 34) are invited to join one of five different (free) tables of tastings and talks throughout the day hosted by local influencers, including Chicago Sun-Times’ Splash Editor Susanna Negovan, Second City’s Katie Rich, eDrop Off Founder Corri McFadden, jazz musician Milton Suggs and The Exports’ lead singer Archie Powell. Anyone interested in having a seat at the table can simply email firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Communal Tables events are not meant to be a focus group. Rather, an authentic experience for consumers (just looking for those 18 -34, no need for a “leader”) to enjoy two things the brand has found they love – great discussion and food. The participating influencers will each host one table and discussion (on anything, everything- mostly related with their subject matter so fashion, humor, music, etc.) – with the six new Campbell’s Go soups sampled as the “facilitator” for the gathering.
Love the innovative spin on this and everyone benefits! Great way to get some unique face-time with industry leaders in Chicago.
