Last night Jennifer Hudson performed an intimate concert at Paris Club's upstairs lounge, Studio Paris.
The private event was part of WGCI's 'Whispers in the Dark' series that puts on private shows by big name acts at secret locations.
J.Hud energetically jumped on stage just before midnight and opened with 'Spotlight' and followed it with my personal favorite, "If This Isn't Love". She spent another 30 minutes not only singing, but playfully bantering with the crowd and inviting a servicemanto jump on stage and sing a few notes.
The Chicago native joked with the small crowd of 200 that she gets mad when people ask what she's doing in town, saying she is a 'proud Chicagoan and will always be.'
The whole WGCI radio team (Chris Michaels, Loni Swain, Connie, UB Rodriguez, Kenya Simone) was on-hand and the 'Morning Riot' team of Tony Sculfield, Nina Chantele and Leon Rogers entertained the crowd before Jennifer Hudson performed.
