As mentioned in this post, my friend and fellow blogger, Amanda (Restaurant Rolodex) participated in RA Sushi's Maki Madness.
It was a sushi eating contest done up to resemble the bracket elimination rounds of March Madness.
Amanda annihilated the competition in the first round by finishing two entire rolls of sushi while most were just finishing their first.
This type of ferocity ultimately took Amanda to the final four where she was competing for a year's worth of free sushi.
Restaurant Rolodex beat out about 20 contestants to represent the ladies and go head to head against three guys who were just as tough competition.
Amanda took fourth place overall and probably never wants to touch sushi again, mark your calendars for the 2012 competition to see if you have what it takes to make the final four!
