It's no secret that I've spent almost three decades eating dessert. No matter how healthy my meal, I could not go to sleep unless I had some sort of dessert after. As a child, that was fresh baked chocolate chip cookies or coconut pies, as an adult, it vacillated between a single square of dark chocolate, low-fat desserts, vegan desserts and now, fruit. It's amazing how satisfying this naturally sweet antioxidant powerhouse can truly be, if you eat exactly what you're in the mood for. If you want a brownie, don't think an apple will satisfy it. Try finding a healthy recipe instead. If you really want to curtail your sweet tooth, below are 4 popular desserts with the fruit that can satisfy even the toughest of cravings. Experiment to find what you like best!
