You may know him from Reno 911, Grandma's Boy, Click, Bucky Larson, and other Happy Madison productions. Nick Swardson began his career as a stand up in Minnesota. Adam Sandler saw his Comedy Central special soon after and the rest is history.
Nick Swardson played the Vic Theater in Chicago last night as part of the TBS Just for Laughs Comedy Festival. He had the crowd going early by saying his favorite Chicago "dive bar" was this place called "the Rain Forest Cafe." He went on to profess his love for Portillo's and congratulate the Blackhawks on their great season.
One of the funniest moments of the night had to be when Swardson talked about a crazed fan that made him recite his lines from Blades of Glory in character at a party. That fan ended up being a guy named Patrick Kane.
