Chicago fighters dominate UFC at United Center

The UFC truly brought their best to Chicago's United Center Saturday night for UFC on Fox 6. The highly anticipated MMA event brought 16,000 plus fans to the house that Jordan built.

Chicago's own Clay Guida may have gotten the biggest response from the crowd upon his entrance. The fighter is a fan favorite who also helps coach Montini Wrestling. Guida was among the victorious Saturday night.

Another Chicagoan, Ricardo Lamas, a Hinsdale Central graduate, dominated his fight, winning early in the 2nd round. Lamas' brutal elbows from the top were no match for opponent Erik Koch.

Milwaukee brawler, Anthony "Showtime" Pettis had plenty of fans at the United Center to watch him win "Knockout of the Night." Pettis pounded on Donald "Cowboy" Cerrone after dropping him with a power kick to the liver.

"Fight of the Night" was no surprise to Flyweight division fans. The belt remained with defending champion Demetrious Johnson. Johnson landed more strikes, and Dodson, the challenger, couldn't catch the champ making any mistakes.
