Improving Workplace Productivity, One Trash Can at a Time

As usual, I am up to no good. Except I mean the opposite. I venture that I'm practically saving the world these days, one trash can at a time. Submitted to my work's intranet suggestion box yesterday (click to zoom):

And now that I think of it...shouldn't all bathroom doors be pull to enter, push to exit? That way you can kick (or gently tap the door with your foot to keep from knocking out someone trying to enter) the door on your way out? Or use your elbow or something?

My friend informed me her office has FOOT PEDALS* to open bathroom doors. You're probably thinking that's too much, but I'm thinking I'll be writing a new idea for the suggestion box tomorrow.

* Almost wrote "foot petals." Definitely not the same thing.
