If you want to make this winter bearable and survive the (sometimes painful) cold of Chicago, the only way to do it is embrace winter by doing activities one could only do in the winter!
One thing we could look forward to is the ongoing Chicago Snow Days at one of the Windy City's greatest landmarks, Navy Pier. The event started Friday, January 28th and involved the first round of Chicago Rail Jam, a freestyle Snowboard competition for those both under 14 and older than 15.
Another thing to look forward to is the ice sculptures that are made at Gateway park. The artists were selected based on their pencil sketch drawings, and the finalists that were invited to Chicago to sculpt hail from all over including faraway places like Russia and China!
Tomorrow will be the last day of the event, so make sure you drop by!
