The greatest legal joke ever

Below is a copy of a deposition from some case that is making the rounds of law firms. I don't know if this was an Illinois case or something else, but it's awesome. As a FYI, the question he objected to is the standard first question in EVERY deposition.

  • I've always wanted someone summoned to a Congressional hearing to do that, because I certainly would!
    They already know your name, your stating it for the record is bullshit!
    If they threatened to cite me for contempt of Congress, I would answer that the entire country holds Congress in contempt & I dare you to take this to trial in DC, where the citizens really hate Congress for meddling in their local affairs.
