  • Dear Ms. Smith,

Re: Corruption (Do you smell a book, Pulitizer Prize, and more)?

Before you start, please review exactly who my family is. Google: John Jenney

  • Ms. Schmidt,

Pardon the typo, (Smith vs. Schmidt). Also if you want to see the evidence from the comment above, E-mailjmjenne214@yahoo.com

  • Re: "suburban bloggers wanted"
You have PLENTY of suburban bloggers. Unfortunately, they blog about Chicago and national affairs. They are also nearly unanimously conservative and laughably ignorant like "Publius Forum" who is just a delusional half-bright tea-bagging suburbanite who wants to get to the next level in right-wing hate media so he can hustle some money from conservative rubes.
    But I digress.
Perhaps you should insist that your current roster of suburban bloggers blog about their suburbs before you extend such a blanket invitation for more drudgery.

  • Is there a restriction to people who are employees?

  • Definitely giving my wife the heads up on this one. She'd be a perfect suburban blogger!

  • Ooh, a blog about the suburbs. Great, I'm looking forward to a review of the latest entrees at Applebee's and then being lectured by someone who has never lived here all the things that are wrong with Chicago.

  • In reply to NativeChicagoan:

    Matt,

These blogs will be mainly about the suburbs that people live in, not blogs about Chicago written by suburbanites. With the occasional piece on Applebee's.

    Cheers,
    Jimmy Greenfield

  • In reply to JimmyGreenfield:

If your also referring to my comments about Illinois Corruption, Jobs for Illinoisans, and Fighting World Hunger, here in Oak Park, the media has failed in helping their fellow man, by not advising the public of this information.

Do you think it's okay that a man who lost his job comes home and kills his family and himself, because some banker was commiting fraud by handing out, "BOGUS LOANS"?

    Just a Thought!

  • In reply to JimmyGreenfield:

Where all of J. Mike's "thoughts" go? They were the best part of this thread.

  • In reply to Luke:

    Luke,

Where all of J. Mike's "thoughts" go? They were the best part of this thread.

Enlighten me, did you mean to say, where (do) all of
    J. Mike's, "thoughts" go?

They were the best part of his thread.

I was educated in the south, so I'm totally unfamiliar with this line. Please explain.

    MJ

  • In reply to Luke:

Typo on my part: It should have read "Where did all ..."

It seems some of your comments were deleted, which is a shame, because they were fun ... in the same way that it's always fun to see the guy on Michigan Avenue with the sandwich board warning of the secret Russian infiltration.

  • In reply to Luke:

    Luke

Thank you so much for the compliment, but it's more than just the sandwich board warning. Here in Oak Park, when the two local newspapers saw my evidence, it was, "Katie Bar the Door", and the public has been denied the truth!

I just felt the voters of Illinois should know all or the information. Wouldn't you agree Mr. Greenfield?

(Originally sent to Aaron Lowe @ the Lowe Down)

    The Lowe Down,

Quinn's got bigger problems than traffic signals! (AARON, or anyone else for that matter), would you like to see the evidence, and hear more? E-mail jmjenne214@yahoo.com.

Does anyone Smell a book or pulitzer, below?

Say,"Governor Quinn, Senator Burris, Attorney General Lisa Madigan, Lt. Governor candidate, Sheila Simon, (I have E-mail correspondence between the two of us going back to 1/26/09), current director of the Illinois State Police Jonathan Monken, State Senator Frank Watson, former commander of the Illinois State Police, Dept. of Criminal Investigations, Dist. 11 Collinsville, Damon Runyon, Chairman of the Reform Illinois Now Committee Patrick Collins, U S Attorney Patrick Fitzgerald, former Governor BIG Jim Thompson, DCI agents, Jere Juenger, David Walker, and David Lauer, Madison County State's Attorney William Haine".

When Mr. Jenne showed and attempted to show you people, how his family's business of over 60 years in Venice, IL, was being Blackmailed, paying extortion money, fenced stolen gasoline, fenced items stolen from the Granite City Army Depot, the railroad yards, residential burglaries, and purposely filed fraudulent Income and Business Tax Returns going back to 1956, YOU DID NOTHING TO HELP, BUT CONTINUED TO COVER IT UP?

FORTUNEATELY, MR. JENNE HAS STATE SENATOR FRANK WATSON'S AND COMMANDER DAMON RUNYON'S, "FINGER PRINTS", ON THE RECORD BOOK USED TO KEEP TRACK OF THE STOLEN GASOLINE FENCED THROUGH HIS FAMILIES BUSINESS, (which comes to 1040 counts of mail fraud for starters). SO, IF HE'S LYING, OR MAKING FALSE ALLEGATIONS, HOW IS IT, HE HAS THE, "FINGER PRINTS', OF WATSON AND RUNYON? "GOTCHA"!!!!!

So, aiding and abetting a felon, former head of the Illinois State Police, is a felony, (Ms. Madigan, you should know that, shouldn't you)?

What felony did Trent commit, you ask? He was in the meeting July 29, 1986, when his agents were lying to me, he never looked at me, he just stared at his shoes. They said, and besides Mr. Jenne, Rick Jones said, "it was a hundred gallons a week of stolen gasoline, not a thousand, he said a hundred".

I said, " a hundred huh"! Agent Walker says, "Yes"! Then I said, "well 100 per week times 52 weeks a year is still, felony weight", the guy darn near fainted.

You see, what these DCI agents didn't know is that when the first stolen gasoline started coming through our business, in August of 1964, I'm the one that had to pay the driver, turn back the meter bar on the pump, and deliver the extortion money to the school board, or we wouldn't get the yearly fuel oil contract.

For his silence, Larry Trent, was promoted to head of the state police by none other than, Rod Blagojevich. You've heard of him haven't you? Well, under the,"the enemy of my enemy is my friend adage", I sent all of the pertinent evidence to him and his lawyer, Sam Adams Jr. "LET THE GOOD TIMES ROLL"!

    Mike J.
    P.S.

(Again, If anyone wants to see the documentation, wants or knows someone that wants a job, and how to incease farm yields to curb world hunger, just E-mail jmjenne214@yahoo.com)

  • In reply to Luke:

By the suburbs...are you including NW Indiana?

  • In reply to SarahS:

Absolutely, as long as the blogger writes specifically about his or her community.

  • In reply to Luke:

I just started one in the TribLocal. Can I cross post it?

    http://triblocal.com/Glen_Ellyn/detail/207217.html

  • In reply to NativeChicagoan:

A little snarky, don't you think?

Just an FYI, but there are a LOT of suburbs - and a lot of suburbanites - who live very interesting lives. I would rather have a sharp stick in my eye than write about Chicago when there is so much here in suburbia to explore.

You really should try extending yourself to places the CTA doesn't go.

  • The upcoming election!

    Dear Ms. Schmidt and Staff,

Before anyone, "SHOOTS THEMSELVES IN THE FOOT", recommending a candidate, you better take a look at the evidence I have. My offer still goes for a substantial donation to NOW.

Say," Governor Quinn, Senator Burris, Attorney General Lisa Madigan, Lt. 11 Collinsville, Damon Runyon, Chairman of the Reform Illinois Now Committee Patrick Collins, U S Attorney Patrick Fitzgerald, former Governor "BIG" Jim Thompson", et al.

When Mr. Jenne showed and attempted to show you people, how his family's business of over 60 years in Venice, IL, was being Blackmailed, paying extortion money, fenced stolen gasoline, fenced items stolen from the Granite City Army Depot, the railroad, residential burglaries, and purposely filed fraudulent Income and Business Tax Returns going back to 1956, YOU DID NOTHING TO HELP, BUT CONTINUED TO COVER IT UP?

SO, IF HE'S LYING, OR MAKING FALSE ALLEGATIONS, HOW IS IT, HE HAS THEIR, "FINGER PRINTS'? "GOTCHA"!!!!!

Unfortuneately for the unemployed and others that need money, high school and college students enrolled or graduates or their parents, the "Powers that be", have been able to keep this information underwraps. Had I gotten an audience in 2007, before the, Housing Bubble Burst, much of the heartache and sorrow could have been avoided.

    TRADING ULTRA - ETF's
    ATTAINING SELF SUFFICIENCY

I URGE ALL NOVICES TO TRY THIS ON PAPER, UNTIL YOU FEEL YOU HAVE A REAL HANDLE ON THE METHOD OF TRADING THE, "ULTRA ETF'S". NATURALLY THE MORE COMFORTABLE YOU BECOME TRADING THIS WAY, YOU MAY WANT TO CHANGE SOME OF MY, "GUIDE LINE SUGGESTIONS", TO SOMETHING WITH WHICH YOU'RE MORE COMFORTABLE.

1.) Pick a liquid "Ultra ETF" and its counter part, (BULL, for when the market is going up, and BEAR for when the market is going down). A "Liquid Ultra ETF", is one that trades millions of shares per day between the two of them. These may be obtained from the web site, www.direxionshares.com., put the cursor on ETF.

(Example: FAS vs. FAZ, which is the financial services sector.
FAS = BULL, the market going up, and FAZ = BEAR, the market going down.)

2.) Put the Example Chart up on your computer screen, and make the appropriate settings:
    Google: Optionsxpresslogin
    Name: Char21
    P/W: 214214C
    Cursor on: Quotes
    Menu: basic charts

Adjust the charts to; TYPE: line, PERIOD: 3 months, LOWER STUDY: CCI (COMMODITY CHANNEL INDEX), LOWER STUDY AGAIN: RSI (RELATIVE STRENGTH INDEX), and LOWER STUDY FOR A THIRD TIME: MACD (MOVING AVERAGE CONVERGENCE / DIVERGENCE). A NOVICE SHOULD STICK WITH A 3 MONTH CHART.

3.) With your chart ready to go, get the overall, "TREND", of the market. Symbol

  • Chicago Now Staff, Ms. Schmidt, Mr. Ceric, and Mr. Lowe,

If you don't believe what I say is the truth, sit down in Ms. Holt, Mr. Kern and Rich Kogan's office at the Chicago Tribune, and say, "Tell me about Mr. Jenne, Venice Gas & Oil Co. and his contact with the three of you. You'll see from the E-Mail, (aka. EVIDENCE MAIL), how Ms. Kern was touting their, "WATCHDOG PROWESS", then, "BOOM", who is "HE", what kind of,"Evidence", "Whose's involved? SILENCE! Just try to get them on the phone or answer an E-Mail.

Now everybody take a deep breath. Every day one of you people don't do anything, 27,000 more children die due to starvation or disease!

Read on and enjoy my proof.

    Dear Mr. Kern, 11/22/09

Here's something to sink your teeth into. It contains a homicide and fraudulent tax returns, so the statute of limitations is out the window. The people involved will read like the Who's Who of Illinois' leaders.

    11/22/09

Thanks for your e-mail, which I will share with Gerry Kern and our investigative team. We

  • Senseless Attacks on Females!

Ladies, question, how many of you have played, "Field Hockey", since you got out of school? How many of you have been the victim of molestation, rape, date rape, attempted date rape, physical
    assault, or verbal abuse?

Wouldn't it be better to teach girls ages 12 and up, MARTIAL ARTS, SELF DEFENSE, AND WHERE IT'S ALLOWED, SMALL ARMS SAFETY? IF a perpetrator even thinks your "ARMED" or "KNOWLEDGEABLE IN SELF DEFENSE TECHNIQUES", the chances of being harmed are greatly diminished.

    JUST A THOUGHT.
