I'd love to tell you what this blog is going to be about, but as I'm starting it up I honestly couldn't tell you.
I expect it will mostly be a place to analyze, discuss, and critique what's happening on the ChicagoNow sports blogs I oversee but I don't know exactly what I'll be analyzing, discussing and critiquing.
The truth is I'm far more anxious to learn what you have to say, and what you like and dislike about what we're building here. I've already heard quite a bit from many ChicagoNow users, and it's been an education.
I thought I knew what sports blogs were like when I started this job in March, 2009. But I didn't have a clue, and I'm only starting to crack the surface.
The hardest thing so far has been accepting that venom flows mightily, and easily, on blogs. I suppose I'll get used to it but I'll never like it.
So consider this a work-in-progress, much like ChicagoNow in its early months is also a work-in-progress.
