Derrick Rose Accepts NBA MVP Award

Chicago Bulls superstar Derrick Rose accepted the MVP award and he did not lose any of his humble behavior. During the Twenty Minute ceremony Rose's family were seated front row and they were all in tears throughout different times in the ceremony.

"Sitting on the opposing teams bench all you can recognize is [Rose's] talent" Coach Tom Thibodeau said during the Ceremony.

Derrick Rose's team mates were very pleased to see him except the award. Joakim Noah and Taj Gibson were seated against the Kia Sorrento awarded to Rose for his achievement. In fact the team's trainers were even in attendance to this momentous occasion.

Perhaps the highlight of it all was Rose's short and humble acceptance speech.

Derrick Rose started off by thanking God, and then he thanked his team.

"They supported me and believed in me" Rose said of his teammates

Then Rose thanked the coaching staff saying

"I wouldn't be where I am without them"

Rose thanked the fans in Chicago and around the world for their undying support.

Derrick Rose became really emotional when thanking his mom.

"She took care of us and I had nothing to worry about [paused to control his emotion] except playing basketball"
