Chicago Blackhawks; "History Will (Could) Be Made"

With an exciting 4-3 overtime victory over the Vancouver Canucks the Chicago Blackhawks are flying high. In a super surprising move after swearing up and down Roberto Luongo would be the starting goalie game six; Canuck coach Alain Vigneault started rookie goalie Cory Schneider. While some Blackhawks admitted they were indeed shocked, but for them it still did not matter who was in goal for the Canucks.

Game six was indeed no walk in the park, but it was sure exciting to watch. From the two national anthems at the beginning of the game; to the overtime goal scored by none other than Blackhawk rookie Mr. Ben Smith; this game was electric.

The Blackhawks had no great answers from Schneider, but he got injured on the shoot-out goal scored by Michael Frolik. Schneider was done for the game and out came Roberto Luongo.

The Blckhawks were owned by the Canucks at the end of the third period and most of the over time until the game winning goal.

What Now

·         Game seven against the Vancouver Canucks will be this Tuesday at 9pm Chicago time.

·         Ben Smith has five point in the post season

·         Dave Bolland was super for another game

·         I suspect Luongo will be in on goal game seven.
