Welcome to ChicagoNow: Fred Huebner's "From The Idle Mind of Fred"

If you're a sports fan in Chicago and you've been around for any part of the last 30 years then you know Fred Huebner.

If not his face, then certainly his distinctive voice, which he has lent to Sports Phone and The Score over his long career.

While you won't hear him, I'm very proud to bring his unique voice to ChicagoNow with the launch of a new sports blog "From The Idle Mind of Fred." Welcome aboard, Fred!
