Somehow, CBSSports.com created a poll asking which team was the best in the NHL and left off the Blackhawks. The same Blackhawks team that is tied for the 2nd-most points in the league and just dismantled the team with the most points on their home ice.
If you don't believe me, see the screen grab below. Don't know when it went up but it was there on Thanksgiving day. Not only did they forget the Hawks, but they included three Eastern Conference teams whose point total ranks them 4th, 6th and 8th, respectively. Looks like ESPN has a rival for network with the worst East Coast bias.

I first saw this poll on Monday, and the same thought occurred to me about east coast bias. All of these teams, at least at the time, deserve consideration in the poll, but it was rather strange to me the the Blackhawks were left out.
