Bears vs. Lions: Prediction time

lionsfans.jpg

One win was all it took to turn Lions fans into jackasses.

The following people picked Seattle to beat the Bears last Sunday: Bill80, Brad Palmer, and gravedigger.

They chose...poorly.

The rest of us, who are so very wise, knew the Bears would win and I'm sure remained confident when they trailed 13-0 in the first half. Right?

Well, maybe not. In any event, the Bears are at home against the suddenly vaunted Detroit Lions, who ended their 19-game losing streak last week against Washington.

My prediction: Bears 28, Lions 10

OK, your turn. Make a prediction in the comments field.

  • 33 - 13 Bears score 4 FG and 3 TD (2 pass and 1 run). Someone in backfield goes down with injury and another linebacker is knocked out. T Harris gets a sack and now he starts talking.

  • 41-17 Devin finally takes a punt to the house and hauls in one from Cutler, D adds a pick six and Forte finally gets to grind out some yardage.

  • 24-3 bears jump out to early lead, run the ball primarily in the 2nd half.

Stafford throws 2 picks, get sacked 4 times.

  • I'll throw out all the stops and go with 27-3, Bears all day.

  • In reply to Maim:

Sorry but Ron Turner's offense has no creativity with no mis-direction, no Cutler roll-outs to offset a pass-rush, too little deep attempts with speed receivers Knox and Hester..... AND still has the WORST screen pass in the NFL. Until a new O-coordinator comes into town, this offense looks too similar to Orton/Grossman...again thanks to Turner.

  • In reply to Maim:

  • In reply to Maim:

    BEARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • In reply to Maim:

The Lions are still really bad. I don't mean bad in a good way. The Bears pass rush has been impressive and thier quarterback is very good. Obviously he is no Kyle Orton but very good just the same. BEARS 31- Lions 10
