How do I add a Twitter and/or Facebook Fan Page widget?

To add a single Twitter widget:

- Under "Appearances" select "Widgets" and you will find a page of "Available Widgets."
- "Drag “Tweets” under Sidebar layout.
- In the box where it says “Twitter handle” type in your twitter handle.
- Select “Save”

To add multiple Twitter widgets:

It's not possible to add multiple Twitter widgets using the widget above. However, you can hard code from Twitter's settings so multiple feeds can appear on the right rail. Here's how to do that:

1. Log in to Twitter
2. Go to your settings
3. Click on Widgets in the left navigation.
4. Select "Create new"
5. Suggested height: 300 px / Suggested Link color: b00f01
6. Select "Create Widget" then copy the embed code. It will look like this:

Tweets by @jcgreenx

7. Go to your WordPress Dashboard.
8. Go to Appearances --> Widgets
9. In the Widgets section move over a 'Text' widget into your rail. Paste the embed code into the text field and save.
10. Suggested title: Tweets by @USERNAME

It's probably best that you do this the same for each account so it looks uniform If one of you uses the "Tweets" widget and one uses this "Text" widget they will look different.

To add a Facebook Fan Page widget:

- Under "Appearances" select "Widgets" and you will find a page of "Available Widgets."
- "Drag “Facebook Like Box” under Sidebar layout
- In the box where it says “Facebook Page URL” paste in your Facebook Page URL.
- You have three “style” options. Check nothing, check “Show faces?” and/or check “Show stream?” Play with it to figure out what works best for you.
