Cosplay comes in three flavors: The good, the bad, and the ugly. Right now, we're only interested in the bad and the ugly (because we need a good laugh). Here are the 50 worst cosplay fails we could find.

So basically what you are saying is don't dress up if you might be heavier than what the media state is "normal". Look at the unashamed and happy smiles on their faces. These people are having a good time doing something they love. I wish most people on this planet were as happy and well adjusted as those folks instead of spending hours degrading others online and hating themselves because they might have extra weight. You know whats funny? Some of those girls are a size 14-The average American woman is 5'4", weighs 140 lbs, and wears a size 14 dress.
The "ideal" woman--portrayed by models, Miss America, Barbie dolls, and screen actresses--is 5'7", weighs 100 lbs, and wears a size 8.
Perhaps you should title this "50 heavy and happy cosplayers" and stop being such a cynic.
Love,
Miss kat
I grew up on videogames and anime. I dressed up as a pokemon one year and Sailor Moon the next. But I would not call myself healthy or well-adjusted at that point. I was on the playstation instead of outside getting exercise, and I loved pretending to be in fantasy worlds because I didn't like my real world all that much. These people may look happy the pictures, and yes it's mean to make fun of them for being fat, but I would not assume all of them are "well-adjusted."
You should be judging people on how much work they put into their costume.
SEVERAL people in this list are FAMOUS in the cosplay world for what they are wearing.
And actualy the Liono at the beginning... The costume might seem embarrassing. But it is perfect!
