As I sit I ponder why children are so violent; today my daughter entered the door after basketball practice with a blackeye. I asked, what happen to your eye? She responsed, a boy hit me in the eye on the bus. I went to the boy's house to talk to his mother; which, I called the police before knocking at her door. Well, to my surprise, mothers are not the same from the 60's and 70's mothers. The mother appeared very hostile, and wanted to know why I was at here home. I wanted to talk about the situation like mothers did in the past, but she did not want to talk like parents should about our children behavior. I'm very unhappy about the police interaction as well as the offender's mother. Something need to be done about the violence in our schools and mothers need to be able to address this issues without displaying negative behavior in front of their children. I want to start an organization that provide preventive measure for children. They need to learn how to control their emotions and not result to voilent.
