Grammy Winner Michael McDonald performs in New Lenox

During the 8th annual New Lenox Triple Play concert series on July 9th, The village presented five time Grammy Award winner Michael McDonald.

McDonald's career has span more than forty years. He started singing with Steely Dan. He later joined The Doobie Brothers in 1976 and remained until 1982, after which he released the first of eight solo albums.

During his career, he has collaborated with other artists, including Van Halen, Patti LaBelle, Aretha Franklin, and Toto.

During his visit to New Lenox, McDonald with his soulful baritone voice performed many well know favorites spanning his 40 plus year career.

This was another home run performance put on by Mayor Baldermann and the Village of New Lenox.

  • I live in Frankfort and we wanted to buy tickets but it all sold out to New Lenox residents. My friends loved it. Great to see coverage of this area and fabulous photos!
