"Christmas Stories Tour" comes to Orland Park on Dec. 4

Celebrate the season with Jason Gray's 4th Annual "Christmas Stories Tour" at 7 p.m., Friday, Dec. 4 at Calvary Church, 16100 S. 104th Ave., Orland Park.

Joining Gray on this year's 11-city tour will be special guest artists and Centricity record label-mates Jonny Diaz and Carrollton.

Gray began the holiday tour in 2012 after the release of "Christmas Stories: The Sounding Joy." Its strong support over the years has made it a Christmas tradition.

"Of all the music I've been privileged to make, I'm the proudest of my Christmas album," Gray said in an October 2015 press release announcing the tour. "By digging into the stores of the well-known nativity characters, I discovered myself in all of them in a way were I felt like they gave me back to myself. I also believe that the heart of God's work in our lives is to make us children again and there is something about the Christmas story that brings out the child in all of us," he said.

Diaz signed with record label Centricity in October 2013 and released his second album with them last September, "Everything is Changing," with the lead single, Breathe. Perhaps best identified by his hit song, More Beautiful You, released in 2009, Diaz is making a name for himself and sharing the stage with many notable Christian acts.

Carrollton released it new EP, "Sunlight and Shadows," last September. The four-member group formed seven years ago and are a sought-after worship band, keeping a busy touring schedule.

With Gray, Diaz and Carrollton performing, the show will surely be a memorable evening of Christmas songs and stories for the entire family. Hope to see you there!
