Eagles fall to Wallabies during Rugby match in Chicago

On Saturday, September 5th, Chicago’s historic Soldier Field played host to the rugby match between the Wallabies of Australia and the Eagles of the United States.  The eagles were able to keep Australia to two first half tries and a four point lead after the first 40 minutes of play.  The Wallabies out played the Eagles in the second half and went on to defeat the USA team 47-10.  The match set an attendance record for the second-largest international Rugby match in the U.S. with 23,212 fans.

This was the first time I watched Rugby and I have to say it was quite the experience.  The atmosphere was electric from the first scrum to the last with cheering from both fan bases.

If you ever have the opportunity to watch Rugby at any level do it, you will not be disappointed.

We give this a four ticket rating.
