Have you ever wished you could have tea with one of literature's greats? Just sit and listen to stories of their life and how they came to write their great works?
It is worth noting that in the second half of the performance when telling of hoe Lewis met his wife and her losing battle with Cancer. You could see genuine pain in Payne as he spoke of this time. After the performance Payne explained that in December of 2014 he lost his wife of 49 years. He dedicates each performance to her and her memory.
This was such a remarkable 90 minute performance, I was compelled to I purchased the DVDs of performances recorded of this work. Yes, I did indeed watch them a few days later.
