They have performed 13 sold-out concerts, during their current tour. Managmeent say that tickets for upcoming events continue to sell at an unprecedented pace.
The Australian brothers Joel and Luke, make up For King & Country hosted a VIP Q&A session. But before the show, I was invited to join the band backstage for time of devotion. It was amazing to see the Christian spirit the entire group showed during the devotional time. David Smallbone, Joel and Luke's dad lead the devotional time and Joel led the prayer circle. What a special time.
They have 13 of 20 concerts played so far. “For King & Country” is taking their soaring melodies, driving rhythms, theatrical instrumentation and personal themes found in their 5-star-acclaimed, bestselling sophomore album, "RUN WILD. LIVE FREE. LOVE STRONG." into every venue on the “You Matter—The Tour.”
With no opening band, the duo played songs like their current multi-week, multi-genre No. 1 hit single, “Fix My Eyes,” and “To The Dreamers,” “It’s Not Over Yet,” “Without You” and more from the new album, released on September 16 from Word Entertainment and debuted at No. 13 on the Billboard Top 200 retail chart.
Here is an excerpt from their press release. “We are blown away by the unprecedented momentum that For King & Country has achieved in the last 30 days,” says Rod Riley, President & CEO, Word Entertainment. “Their sophomore album debuting in the top 15 on Billboard’s top 200, securing a multi-format No. 1 radio single, closing the Dove Awards and now selling out their tour all prove that they are a headliner in every definition of the word. This is a special moment with a special group and we are honored to be a part of it.”
For King & Country also performed the close for the 45th Annual GMA Dove Awards, which aired on the Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN) October 12.
Their songs have aired on The Emmy’s, the Today Show, Sunday Night Football, 7Up commercials, U.S. Open Finals, Spotify’s Viral50 and more.
Their new hits come from a long, painful, enriching journey that led to the recording of RUN WILD. LIVE FREE. LOVE STRONG. Check out this video to see.
After the show a young man made a plea to the staff for their help. He wanted the Joel's assistance with proposing to his girl friend. Joel asked those in line for their patience as they have a very special question to be asked, the young man bent to one knee and present his girlfriend with ring and asked her if she would marry him. She said yes. Afterwards, Joel posed for engagement photos with them. What a special moment.

This being my second chance to cover For King & Country, I had my expectations met and then some with their performance. They brought it, this in their solo performance. Great job guys!
I will give them a spectacular 5 guitar rating. I look forward to the next chance I have to see them.
