30 Days Wild--Day 19

30 Days Wild--Day 19
wikimedia --waxing moon

The summer  solstice is  almost here.  The exact time will be  June 20  at  5:34 p.m. CDT .  There will also be  a full moon,  the first full moon at  the summer solstice since 1967!   You can read more about the  June solstice  full moon at EarthSky.

Tonight,  there is  an almost-full moon, a waxing gibbous moon,  rising at 7:41 p.m.  in the still-light  sky.  Why not go out and watch it with the fireflies?

You can read more about fireflies here.
