And today, Good Friday, blue sky and sun, highs in the 50's, it's Spring for a day!
If we ever needed a sign of hope and renewal, it's now, after days of gloom and below-normal temperatures. So tired of this seemingly endless end-of-winter, we're ready for life to really begin, again.
And life has been beginning all around us--even now, under the cover of brown leaves, the red tips of peonies are emerging.
In the plazas, pigeons are dancing.
In the neighborhoods, cats are rolling on the sidewalks.
Yellow and purple crocuses spring up in the parkways, and the pussy willows are blooming on the way to Walgreens.
