We all have noticed at how Apple has taken the reigns in the tablet market and has not lost any steam. There are others who have joined the competition, like Amazon, Google are among a few.
It should come as no surprise that there are talks among the tech nerds and we have said that there should be a smaller iPad. Much like the Kindle Fire that has gained a lot of support and the newest Google Nexus which has the makings of a true rival of the two tablets that I have mentioned.
The new model could be anything between 7 inches and 8 inches in size it would be smaller than the present iPad. Now one thing that won't be seen on this new iPad is the Retina display that is found on the new iPad. What will the price be? Well it could be somewhere in the range of the Kindle Fire and the Google Nexus 7 which is in the $200 dollar range.
There have always been discussions of having a smaller iPad ever since the first ever iPad was launched. They never thought there was a market for a smaller tablet. With the releases of the Fire and the recent Google Nexus 7 and with them offering it at a low price point they think that it is a perfect time to capture this moment for them.
The important question is also when will it be released? Well if I were a betting man. Which I am not. But if I were. I would say that it would be ready around the Christmas holiday rush. So stay tuned to this blog for the latest and greatest techy news.
