New wireless connection coming from Apple

Apple is planning on upping the ante in terms of wireless connections. If you have connected the Wi-Fi in your house, and you have shopped for the router at your local electronics store. You are familiar with the connections that read 802.11G, 802.11N and the last one that I mentioned is the fastest to date.

Now Apple comes around and says that we want to up the speed to 802.11ac. Now this speed is 2 to 4 times faster than your typical 802.11N wireless router. At this speed you can download stuff at 1 GB per second. That is very fast. What normally would take about 10 minutes to download might take even less. This all depends on your Internet service provider and what speed you currently have. But again this is still in the starting stages of the process.

Then this all goes back to if this has anything to do with the Apple TV that will almost happen. It is just a matter of when it will be released. The thing with the TV is that it will incorporate Wi-FI, where you can connect to the internet look up things and all other things that you do on your computer. So I could see Apple releasing this and then coming out with their stuff with the new wireless connection.

So stay tuned for the news on this and future techy toys.
