The next reading event sponsored by the Chicago Center for Literature and Photography (CCLaP) event with the head writer of the AV Club Nathan Rabin. The event takes places on November 29th at Stage 773 (formerly the Theatre Building Chicago). Rabin recently released a new collection of essay called My Year of Flops. The event will be in the form of a traditional one-hour sit-down interview in front of a live audience. There will be also be a question and answer period.
Ben Tanzer (Most Likely You Go Your Way and I'll Go Mine, 99 Problems) will kick off the event with a brand-new 15-minute story on the subject of bad movies. The event takes place on the north stage of the main Stage 773 building, at 1225 W. Belmont, just a quarter-mile west of the Belmont el stop in Chicago; tickets are $6, and can be bought both at the door that night and online in advance at stage773.org.
