Tonight at Fill-in-the-Blank-Gallery (5038 N Lincoln Ave) from 8pm to 11pm, Jon Fullmer and the crew from Knee-Jerk Magazine celebrate the one year anniversary of their on-line zine. Over the last year the site has published stories and articles from some of Chicago's best writer's including Billy Lombardo, Lindsey Hunter, and many more. The site also recently announced that they will be releasing their first print issue this fall.

Now, you may be thinking, but isn't the Chicago Underground Library's Stacks! Soul Librarian Dance Party tonight? The answer is yes, but Knee-Jerk and the fine folks at Artifice have come up with a solution.

1) Preorder your Stacks! ticket now ($7 in advance). (At Brown Paper Tickets
2) Go to the Knee-Jerk party first ($5 suggested donation) & drink free beer.
3) Bike to Stacks!
4) Put on your sexy librarian outfit in the alley.
5) Dance till 4 am.

Now go and kick off your weekend in a literary (and beer-filled) way.
