  • I am glad the Women and Kids buyers don't have totally horrible taste. The Moore and the Strout strike me as respectable.

I went to Women and Kids on Saturday but did not buy any of these. I bought:

~"The Last Time I Saw You" by Rebecca Brown (my favorite underrated writer)
~Trailer Girl by Terese Svoboda (I've been wanting to read her for a while so bought on impulse
~Shuck by Daniel Allen Cox (Got interested in this press, Arsenal Pulp, which was previously unfamiliar to me, and this particular book had a nice blurb from Derek McCormack)
~Sexing the Cherry by Jeanette Winterson (I recently read "Written on the Body" and loved it, and now want more)
