At 6pm, yours truly will be in the loop at the Aleksander Hemon and Jacob Weisberg discussion, The Future of The Book, at the Preston Bradley Hall of the Chicago Cultural Center, which I previously discussed here. No cover, but reservations are required.

Also downtown, at Instituto Cervantes, Gerald Martin will read from his biography Gabriel Garcia Marquez: A Life at 7pm.

In Winnetka, Mary Pat Kelly reads from her historical novel Galway Bay at the Book Stall at Chestnut Court at 7pm. 811 Elm St.
