It’s not the LA Kings, but the LA Lakers instead, currently taking on the Chicago Blackhawks in the Western Conference Finals; according to Yahoo. Maybe they were thinking of Phil Jackson, who coached both the Chicago Bulls and the LA Lakers, and just got confused. How come both the local and the national media are SO INCOMPETENT when it comes to covering the LA Kings? The LA Kings are the reigning NHL Stanley Cup Champions. They’ve been in existence for multiple decades and Wayne Gretzky, the greatest player in hockey history, skated for them for several years. Yet, sports media doesn't get it. Yahoo! is the 800 pound gorilla in the room when it comes to internet news. They own Alexa, which is the foremost authority on ranking worldwide traffic of websites. Of course, they overrate the traffic of all Yahoo sites. Alexa is also a great source to see what’s trending on the internet. Minutes ago, Alexa had “cunnilingus” as the #1 most trending term on the internet. Not shocking at all. Not one bit. And, REALLY BIG SURPRISE HERE, Alexa almost ALWAYS decides Yahoo links to be “top trending.” Even when Yahoo does things like this...
