returns in a couple hours, and with his play he can go back to being the local-kid-done-good-story that everyone in Chicago loves. All those negative feelings in Chicago will be erased if Rose plays as dominant as he has in the preseason.
You won’t have to hear “I hate THIS Derrick Rose,
” but don’t hate Derrick Rose anymore. You can put to bed the question of “why didn’t you just tell us Derrick Rose?” Either way, you could have just told us.
It certainly took a very long time for us to get a true straight answer regarding why he didn’t return after being
medically cleared to do so.
Tonight is a night for healing.
It’s all about his play, and putting all these bad feelings to bed. It’s Derrick Rose being Derrick Rose; not Derrick Rose secretly having the strings pulled behind the curtain by Reggie Rose. Or Adidas.
Or the combined secret cabal of the Mafia, Hip-hop industry, Skull and Bones, Free-Masons, Stone-Cutters, League of Women Voters, U.S. Naval Reserve, BlogHer Convention, NAMBLA and Crab People that joined forces to keep Derrick Rose from playing NBA
basketball after being cleared by team doctors in March.

In this exclusive interview, Haugh and I cover a lot of ground, and get “controversial” at times. Well, you may find some of these topics controversial. And if so, be sure voice your opinion in the comment threads below.

It's Lent, the season preparing us for the coming resurrection; of Derrick Rose on ??? Jesus Christ on Easter, March 31st. I'm not sure which figure is bigger in Chicago right now, but I'd guess the former. I'm not trying to rip off John Lennon
, I'm only trying to help us all in the Second City obtain/maintain some perspective.
Now "let he who is without sin cast the first stone," though I have sinned. And this is my confession. Late Friday night, early Saturday morning I posted this article on the site I own/manage:
Chicago Bulls fans, it seems the 2011 league MVP, Derrick Rose, will be playing on Monday night versus the Denver Nuggets. You can see Derrick Rose on the court, not just on pizza boxes. The Bulls moved the telecast of their game with Denver from Comcast SportsNet+ Chicago to Comcast SportsNet Chicago. The Bulls are switching places with the Blackhawks, and when you consider that the Blackhawks have been breaking television ratings records left and right, you know something big has to be happening to bump them down. The news began with Daily Herald Bulls beat reporter Mike McGraw tweeting the broadcast news
