Tim Doyle interview on 670 The Score a must listen

Three days after a fight with Comcast SportsNet analyst Kendall Gill during an episode of CSN’s new show “Sports Talk Live,” Big Ten Network analyst Tim Doyle was on 670 The Score's "McNeil and Spiegel Show" to discuss the incident. And Illinois and Northwestern basketball. As well as the Northwestern coaching search.

However, it's not the discussion of the recent scuffle or the college hoops material that makes this audio file a must listen. It's the perspective on life you can gain from hearing Doyle's words.

As someone who has very recently dealt with health issues equal in severity and seriousness; and will continue to deal with serious health issues moving forward in the rest of my life, I completely understand exactly where Tim Doyle is coming from. He says that college basketball, sports debates, the field we both work in, all that stuff, pales in comparison to what the Doyle family is dealing with now.

Just listen, Tim Doyle will tell you in his own words. I  sincerely hope that everything works out for Mr. Doyle, his brother and the Doyle family. I hope they hear nothing but positive health news moving forward. I wish them well and express support for them in their fight.

Just go here and download the file. And listen to the whole thing.
