CBS Sports Network is going behind-the-scenes with Notre Dame basketball for its all-access show College Hoops Confidential: Notre Dame, which airs Monday, March 4 (5:30 PM, CDT). The show provides an inside look at top 25 ranked Notre Dame basketball as they approach the end of the Big East regular season.
The show features interviews with head coach Mike Brey, and players Jack Cooley (a potential NBA Draft pick) and point guard Eric Atkins, among others.
The Irish are currently projected anywhere from a #6 to a #9 seed in most bracket projections. The real question will be if they can make it to the second weekend of the NCAA Tournament, something they haven't done in quite awhile. The show will go behind-the-scenes with Brey as he plans practice during his daily swim, and looks at the college basketball culture and unique aspects of campus life at Notre Dame.
Brey also provides commentary on why he is no longer wearing his famous mock turtleneck, and is instead wearing a more traditional spread-collar shirt. I've always been a huge fan of the suit coat, no tie look. It's my favorite look to sport when I'm at press row. Doesn't matter whether it's a dress shirt or turtleneck or nice tee, I love it. It's Miami Vice forever to me.
