The actual college football game was a total joke- the Alabama Crimson Tide totally crushed Notre Dame right from the start. The game was over at kickoff. Serves ESPN right for over-promoting the hell out of the game for the past month and change. So what captivated the viewers since the football was anything but interesting? Katherine Webb, Miss Alabama 2012 and girlfriend of Tide QB A.J. McCarron. And ironically an Auburn graduate.

Her, along with the hot mom of McCarron, Dee Dee Sonders got a TON of ESPN air time tonight, and with that they almost broke Twitter and the internet. And turned legendary sportscaster Brent Musburger into a national punchline.

Musburger’s name was trending, but for all the wrong reasons. Creepy Musburger became a popular hash tag and later a parody Twitter acount.

Webb’s first sighting at the 4:33 mark of the first quarter resulted in an sudden explosion in traffic all across the internet, and it centered on Webb’s Twitter account (@_KatherineWebb). Prior to the game, Miss Alabama had about 2,000 followers. By midnight she had 100,000. Watch the video below:

That just makes the Creepy Musburger account so hilarious! Some tweets:

@_KatherineWebb let me know if you need a ride after the game, k? #gentleman ????

Hey @_KatherineWebb if you’re looking to get dyNASTY just DM me ;)

But he wasn’t the only one lusting over McCarron’s woman. Darnell Dockett, one of the best NFL player follows on Twitter, published this tweet:

Aye @_KatherineWebb hit me (240) 464-4150 when game over, lets go to wing stop then King of diamond, ????

And quickly the Arizona Cardinals player noticed his mistake, erasing the tweet in which he just gave out his home phone number to his 132,000+ followers:

Shit that was suppose to be DM! ????

So with a game in which Notre Dame failed to even show, and the SEC winning it’s 7th straight national title, sideshows like this took center stage.
