Yanks get Tanaka
Cubs fans get a pantsless bear
It's a way of life

 

The off season continues to leave Cubs fans bored and frustrated. After a little buzz about it before and during the Cubs Convention, the North Siders have lost the bidding war for Masahiro Tanaka, who has signed with the Yankees. The Tribune is one of many sources to report that the deal is worth $155 million over 7 years.

But, not to worry - or perhaps something else to worry about. As Matt Clapp mentioned on Twitter, we can start to obsess about another potential Cubs deal that could end up being a disappointment for fans - particularly those who fear having fewer games available on free broadcast television:
