Doing a power rankings is fun and interesting in the beginning and/or middle of the season. Towards the end, it’s kind of useless. You just look at the standings. Also, preconference basketball doesn’t really mean as much as conference action. That’s when we’ll learn a lot more. Now that Butler has knocked off the #1 Hoosiers
, you know they’ll lose their spot at #1 here as well.
Guess who the new #1 is...
No snarky or witty intro here, let’s just get down to the brass tax. You know what this post is about. For our team power rankings go here 1. Denard Robinson- Wolverines All his deep completions are just lucky jump balls that he throws up there. And he lofts it when he shouldn’t. And doesn’t... Read more »
These are highly subject to change. Brady Hoke remarked at Media Day that UM was picked fifth in their division a year ago; and just outside the top 25 in the year they won their last national title- 1997. So maybe these rankings don’t really mean all that much? Of course, that won’t stop you... Read more »
This is a first for the two years I’ve been doing the college football 77 in 77- having to move a team WAY DOWN the rankings before the season has even started. And putting the Penn State Nittany Lions this high, is still way too high. But there’s nothing else I can do given the... Read more »

Has there ever been a fall from grace this far, this fast? Has there ever been such a disgusting monster... Read more »

I understand why Tom Bradley was chosen as interim successor to Joe Paterno, but he really isn’t the warm and cuddly face the University needs right now. At a time when the program should be showing great humility, Bradley has been anything but. He’s only making more people hate PSU. But who really cares about... Read more »
Last week, the Penn State Nittany Lions played their first game after the biggest story is sports history unfolded on their campus. It led to their first Big Ten loss of the season. This week they’ll take to the road for the first time in the wake of the PSU pedophilia scandal, and face the... Read more »
According to insiders within the Penn State program, Joe Paterno was the CEO of not just college football, but everything else surrounding the team in Happy Valley. He was cold, calculating, and in control of all that went on. So those claiming the senility defense, “oh he’s a confused old man,”- sorry that just doesn’t... Read more »
