Northwestern Wildcats coach Pat Fitzgerald
will make his annual trip to Wrigley Field this Tuesday, May 24 to
serve as the seventh-inning guest conductor for "Take Me Out to the Ball

Tuesday's Chicago Cubs
vs. New York Mets game begins at 7:05 p.m. CT and will be televised on
WGN-TV (Channel 9 locally). This may or may not be Fitz's first trip to
the Friendly Confines since the Wrigleyville Classic loss to the
Illinois Fighting Illini.

What a memorable college football game that was.

Fitzgerald, making his sixth annual trip to Wrigley Field to take
part in one of baseball's most unique traditions, will toss one of the
game's first pitches at approximately 6:45 p.m. A native of Orland Park,
IL and graduate of Carl Sandburg high school, he grew up in the heart
of White Sox country.

Prior to the Cubs game, Fitzgerald will be visiting with Wildcat fans
and alumni at Mullen's Bar & Grill (3527 N. Clark Street) from 5:30
until 6:15 p.m. If you wish to attend the 5 p.m. event at Mullen's,
tickets can be purchased through the Northwestern Club of Chicago

As standard for the 7th inning stretch/first ball thrower, Fitzgerald
will conduct interviews with WGN Radio (sixth inning) and WGN-TV
(seventh inning) during the game.

Any Northwestern students, faculty or staff who would like to attend
Tuesday's game can purchase game tickets for just $15. Tickets can be purchased here

Or walk up to the park, and have fun at the ticket scalper's expense
by getting tickets cheaper than that. You can name your own price these
days, the market for Cubs tix is flooded and the secondary market
sellers are desperate- no problem getting in for under face value.
