Stray Cat Strut, June 22nd!

Stray Cat Strut, June 22nd!

Hey all you cat lovers out there!

How about doing a little somethin', somethin' for a wonderful cause? Summer is here (wrapped in the disguise of early spring) and it's time for some outdoor fun and volunteer opportunities.

June 22nd, Tree House Humane Society will be hosting their 8th annual Stray Cat Strut, a 5k to raise funds for their new (badly needed) state-of-the art animal shelter and veterinary clinic. I've featured TH before and you can read about them and the plans for their new space here. As I've said numerous times, Tree House is an amazing place that really does wonderful work. Though, as I am sure you know, I am a bit partial.

Bahi, second from the left, was adopted by our family from Tree House in January. He fits right in.

This year, I will be supporting Marcia Marzec, a wonderful friend, who will be embarking on her inaugural Strut.

So, join in! Start a team, register to walk, or donate to a walker. Tree House does the kind of work that lets animal lovers sleep at night, knowing that someone out there is protecting our furry friends.
