If you are in the Windy City this weekend you are in for a treat. The city street festivals are finally in full swing.
Chicago Peace Festival
Celebrate the beginning of summer, picnic-style, with live music and entertainment from Wanton Looks, Dubasaurus, Philip Morris, Flow Theory, Strange Arrangement, Electric Medicine, THC, Half Mad Poet, Classy Ladies, Environmental Encroachment, Strange Ranger, General Patton and His Privates, Poverty Tax, Flabby Hoffman, Thinner Teed, New Clear Threat and White Mystery Band. The Chicago Peace Fest will take place in Lincoln Park at 1700 N. Stockton Drive.
Mid Summer Festival
June 18th: 6pm-10pm
June 19th: 12pm-10pm
June 20th: 12pm-8pm
The inaugural festival celebrates the Summer Solstice with a Scandinavian theme and features food vendors, live music, arts and crafts and kids' activities. Located in West Ridge at West Rogers Park, enjoy the music food and fun for a donation of $5 benefiting St. Philip Lutheran School.
Taste of Randolph Street

In the 13th year of this popular fest, crowds flock to the WEst Loop for this foodie fest. Vendors typically set up along a six block stretch of Randolph Street, from Halsted Street and Ashland Ave. Price for entry is a $10 donation.
