If you are in Chicago then you can not miss this musical playing at the Ford Center for the Performing Arts, Oriental Theater!  The touring production of the Tony QAwqard-winning Broadway musical by Elton John and Lee Hall, directed by Stephen Daldry (who also directed the 2000 film of the same title) begins an extended run in Chicago.  The storyline follows the struggles of a young boy in 1980s working-class England who discovers a passion for dancing while on his way to a boxing lesson.  The musical will run Thursdays-Sundays starting March 18th, and tickets range from $28-$100.

Sunday, March 21, kick off Chicago's running season with the 8K (4.97 mile) run!  The race will start and finish in Grant Park and each participant will receive a timing device, bib number, technical t-shirt, and participant bag!  Registration has closed so if you are not able to participate in the event, it can still be fun to cheer on friends!!!
