I'll tell you, I'm starting to get nervous for NATO. I work in the Federal District, and I'm starting to read about security sweeps and increased police presence starting as early as next week. I don't know how I'm going to get to work that week, but expect my posts to take an angry tone. But, I have a fun weekend ahead so I'm not going to worry about that.
As I've said before, I'm not a bar crawl type of gal. But I do love to watch the Zombie Pub Crawl go by. This Saturday marks the 5th annual Zombie Pub Crawl, a pH Productions event that unleashes zombies in Andersonville bars.
Jurassic Park is an awesome movie, and it's even awesomer on the big screen. The Patio Theater is showing the blockbuster on Friday, Saturday and Sunday night for $5. Money raised will go toward the theater's Digital Projection Upgrade Campaign.
I'll be heading to the 2nd Annual Pastoral Artisan Producer Festival tomorrow. I'm so excited, but I heard that they are expecting around 8,000 people! The vendors who were there last year recommend getting there are 10:30 a.m. to avoid the rush. I hope I don't get crushed!
Book fairs are wonderful, and I'm such a supporter of the Open Book Sidewalk Sale. Pick from thousands of books priced at $1, $2 and $3. The book fair runs from 12:00 - 5:00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
