As you can tell by now, I'm a little bit obsessed with food trucks. Maybe it's a result of my teenage crush on our neighborhood ice cream man (it's not as creepy as it sounds) or maybe it's just my inner fat kid. Now that it's getting warm(er), I'm chasing them around the city. That's why I'm so excited for the return of Food Truck Thursdays.
From 5:00 - 9:00 p.m. every Thursday night, a bunch of the city's food trucks head over to the the old Ethyl's parking lot for a foodie gathering. Even though the restaurant is now closed, there's still plenty of outdoor seating, and the event will now be hosted by Aaron Crumbaugh of Wagyu Wagon.
There's usually around five food trucks in attendance every Thursday, and tonight you can enjoy fare from The Slide Ride, Steakw'ch, Flavor 180, Eleaven, Curry Cruiser and Gia Via Sweets. Of course, with food trucks you never know where they're going to pop up.
