I am OVER winter. Yes, I know we haven't had a bad winter, but the fact that all the clothing stores are displaying shorts ignites my Seasonal Affective Disorder. Fortunately, I have a little Cash Cab to save me.
I already have my tickets to see Ben Bailey at the UP Comedy Club this weekend. Who's Ben Bailey? The Cash Cab guy!!!! I'm going to be honest and say I don't know much about Ben Bailey. Really, I just love Cash Cab, and I wanted to be at the opening weekend of the new comedy club.
The Opening the Vaults: Mummies exhibit kicks off at the Field Museum tomorrow. I think mummies are about the coolest thing to see at a museum, and it's not just because I love the Mummy movies. (But only the first two.) You'll get to see over 20 mummies, and one of them is actually one of the oldest in the world! You'll learn more about ancient mummification rituals and how it was done in Ancient Egypt. The exhibit runs until April 22.
Nothing beats free cupcakes. Stuff your face at the Lakeview Whole Foods sixteenth birthday celebration on Saturday at noon. And if you want to celebrate in a classier way, the store is having a food and wine pairing event on Friday from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m.
Looking for a new addiction? Might I suggest joining Pinterest. Since I'm such a super cool trendsetter, I have to
brag say that I've been on it for a year now. Let me know if you need an invite, and I'll send one your way!
