Rock on the Fox 2014 Music and Camping Festival at Hide-A-Way Lakes Campground in the City of Yorkville, Illinois on August 22nd through 24th. All proceeds from the festival will be donated to the “Wish Upon a Star Foundation” of Joliet. This foundation grants wishes to terminally ill children. Rock on the Fox - web site.

Hide-A-Way Lakes is located just minutes from downtown Yorkville. It is a beautiful 150 acre campground that lies adjacent to the Fox River, and is covered with forest and hiking trails. There are fishing lakes, as well as a swimming area, playgrounds, picnic tables, shower houses, bathroom facilities, and a camp store.

Bands / artists of many rock genres will be performing Friday evening, and all day/night on Saturday. Sunday will be dedicated to packing up and heading home. The stage/viewing area will be covered by a 40′ by 80′ tent to ensure that this event will take place rain or shine (No rain please!). Local food and product vendors will also be on premise.

Day passes also can be purchased and includes that night of camping. Saturday Pass is $30 and Friday Pass is $20.
The whole weekend is $45.

Children twelve and under will be admitted to the festival for FREE!

For those with a Supernatural Interest

Chicago Psychic Medium, Paranormal Host and author Edward Shanahan will be providing readings during the day in the vendor area and in the evening for those who are interested, his Circle of Energy, Drumming for those interested, even paranormal investigations during the day or evening is allowed as there is an area of the campground that may actually be a great discovery.

For those interested in participating in the supernatural offerings, drumming etc, it has been arranged for those attending and camping (only $45 per person and includes campsite all weekend and bands), for those with an interest in the supernatural, drumming etc, they can be in their own area for camping and that makes it easy to find each other with the same interests. Once you reserve (for those that do reserve), let Edward Shanahan know at one of his links below and he will inform the event coordinator Derek Fondren of the amount of people with the interest in being in the area with the supernatural interest.
