Night shots of Sandy's effects on Montrose Pier

On October 29 2012 super storm Sandy was hitting the east coast. I traveled to Montrose pier to see what effects it was having on Lake Michigan. I got very close. The waves were very high. I shot a video but the wind was so strong it was difficult to speak and sand was getting into my mouth and everywhere else. I got the best pictures with my still camera. I am posting just a few on here. I encourage you to watch the video here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ITabUrJljFE as the pictures are part of a small time-lapse segment included with my video. Please leave me some comments and tell me what you think about the pics and video, also if you were out near lake Michigan that night and you got some pics share them with me I would love to check them out.

My name is Frank Garcia, I am an artist and musician. I have a passion for photography, mainly night photography. Night brings out an elegance and character of the Windy City that is rarely seen by the public. In the past few years I have captured many images of the city with my camera from Lake Shore drive to the downtown area. I am also very involved in the rock/metal music scene here in the mid-west. i am guitarist for the band Waking Chaos and Nekropsy. As an artist, I use airbrush, spray-paint, pencil.ink and traditional acrylic for paintings. You can visit my art galleries by going to my web site link from the site.
