Right after televising Gabby Douglas' gold medal victory in the summer Olympics, NBC aired a commercial featuring <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OFBHjgpIq7I">a monkey gymnast taking gold on the rings.</a> The <a href="http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2183284/Gabby-Douglas-NBC-forced-apologise-ad-features-monkey-doing-gymnastics-right-AFTER-victory.html">network later apologized</a>, citing poor timing and explaining, "No offense was intended."
