The Chicago Reporter is an investigative magazine that doesn't shy away from the tough issues. Our 40th anniversary edition of the magazine shows just that: We looked at some of the changes in 40 years of the Reporter's main beats--criminal justice, immigration, labor and housing.
But we also know when it's time to celebrate the long hours put in, the award-winning investigations we've produced, and the readers who have helped us sustain it all. And we'd love it if you could be there to help us celebrate our milestone.
The Reporter invites you to join us for a reception and live taping of the nationally acclaimed National Public Radio show, “Wait Wait…Don’t Tell Me!” on June 13 at the Chase Auditorium in downtown Chicago.
"Attorney General Lisa Madigan will be there, along with other high-profile ‘mystery’ guests," Laura Washington, interim publisher of the Reporter, revealed. "You don’t want to miss this culmination of our historic 40th year. Join us!"
The event will be a fundraiser, and the clock is ticking. Make sure that you have a seat. Ticket sales end this Thursday, May 23, at noon! To book tickets click here.
We hope you'll join us for an evening of drinks, hors d'oeuvre, public radio and a celebration of 40 years of shoe-leather investigative reporting.
